The Love Planet Foundation was conceived by Voice Actors and Entertainment Professionals Lex Lang and Sandy Fox in 1998.

As long-time veterans in the entertainment industry, they felt that by utilizing the power of media as a force for good, they could create education and awareness for social and environmental issues thru educational school programs, music,  film, television, interactive media, and live events.

In 2001, The Love Planet Foundation became a project member of SEE- Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs and has produced and/or participated in events that inspire children and adults to engage in environmental stewardship and positive planetary change.

In 2018 The Love Planet Foundation became an independent nonprofit public charity exempt from federal income tax under section 501(C3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Love Planet Foundation is a certified charity by GuideStar.
